Padus Foundation Class



     The Padus Foundation Class offers a variety of features desired for CD/DVD and other multimedia solutions.


Pure C/C++ object-oriented environment

Support for Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP/2003 (Linux and Mac OS X under development)

Libraries and solutions available for Visual Studio 6/7 in MFC, non-MFC, and static forms (on request)

Independent ASPI layer (no need for Adaptec ASPI shell)

Includes several sample applications (with source code) that illustrate the most common CD/DVD tasks

Full 32-bit multithread and multitasking implementation

Small footprint (the whole toolkit is contained in a few libraries comprising a few megabytes)

DVD-Video, Super Video CD, and Video CD authoring, encoding, and mastering capabilities (separate licensing for MPEG engine)
